    • The Master's Plan - Witness & Welcome in Gospel love

      Church Blessing & Dedication Mass

We are happy to announce the Mary Queen Church Blessing and Dedication Mass will be Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the morning.  We will welcome His Eminence, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston for this special dedication liturgy.

Gratitude to all our Mary Queen parishioners and friends who have made their pledge to our current capital campaign, “The Master’s Plan: Witness and Welcome in Gospel love.”  We encourage all our Catholic households to join us in this historic endeavor, as we see the construction of the new church facility rapidly progressing.  For most of us, this will be the church of our faith-lives, our celebration of the Eucharist, our house of prayer and praise, our sacramental life, our Catholic center of ministry and witness, and the symbol of our inherent union with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.  “Memorial” items are still available for your designation and donations.  Please contact Lisa Johnson, Capital Campaign Administrator, for current listings and information 281-482-1391 ext. 313 or ljohnson@maryqueenchurch.org.

    • Faith Direct - Automatic Contributions

During Lent we are reminded of our call to be stewards with gifts of time, talent, and treasure.  At Mary Queen Catholic Church we appreciate your gifts, regardless of how they come.  Many of our parishioners have been using our electronic giving program, Faith Direct, to give their gifts of treasure.  Faith Direct is an excellent way to support the parish while reducing the administrative costs of envelopes and saving our wonderful staff and volunteers precious time.  To enroll in the Faith Direct program you may pick up an enrollment form in the parish office or enroll online at www.faithdirect.net using our church code: TX242.

I hope you will consider participating in this great program as it has been a wonderful means of support for our parish family.  Again, thank you for your generosity.  ~ Fr. Skip
