Stewardship Reflection:
For all those who generously share their unique gifts so that as a parish community we carry on the work of Jesus Christ.
“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
All of us are blessed, regardless of our own individual circumstances; God has given each of us many gifts. How we use those gifts is our gift back to God. For God’s plan to work, each must do what we are called to do and guess what – we are not all called to do the same thing!
SPIRITUAL GIFTS INVENTORY
There are many opportunities around the parish grounds for Garden Angels. The flower beds are in need of personal care to keep them beautiful. Please contact Deacon Chuck at cturner@maryqueenchurch.org if you are interested in giving some of your gardening time and talents to help maintain the many flower beds around the property. This includes the Church, Parish Center, La Salette Hall, the Rectory and Mary’s House.
Funeral Meal Ministry
As part of the Ministry of Compassion, the Funeral Meal Ministry, provides compassion and loving assistance to bereaved parishioners and their families by preparing and serving lunch on the day of the funeral. We are always in need of parishioners to help work the funeral luncheon as well as prepare and donate food. This can be very rewarding to be able to help in such an easy but greatly appreciated way during such a difficult time for a family. Meals for Clergy
Our ministry needs your help! Please consider signing up for our Clergy Meal ministry as we need more cooks to deliver meals to our priests. You only sign up when you are available! Meals are prepared for five people and dropped off at the rectory at dinner time.
