Brave the wilderness Camp
Brave the Wilderness is a week long, overnight camp for high school students hosted and put together by several parishes from the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Held at Forest Glen in Huntsville, Texas, Brave gives students an opportunity for teens to meet members of other local parishes while building lasting relationships with them and with Christ. Camp activities include zipline, rock wall, swimming, competition games, nightly talks, prayer experiences, Adoration, daily Mass and so much more!
Brave the Wilderness is open to students enrolled in 8th grade as well as 9th-12th for the 2025-2026 school year. Transportation, food & a t-shirt are provided.
Spots are limited so register and reserve yours today by filling out the form and making the deposit on our website! If more than 50 students sign up there will be a waitlist in the event that additional spots are made available.
The overall cost per retreatant is $460. The initial payment will be a nonrefundable $150 deposit, due upon online registration. The remaining balance of $290 is due NO LATER THAN April 1, 2026.

Chaperones (21+) and logistics team (adults 18-20) are free but will need to register below as well as do a background check and attend camp-specific training later in Spring 2026.
Please note there will be a meeting for parents and retreatants closer to the camp date.
