Join us this summer for the Mary Queen Men’s ACTS Retreat — a sacred time to step away from the noise of daily life and encounter Jesus in community and prayer. Whether you're seeking restoration, peace or a deeper relationship with God, this retreat is for you.

Registration closes Monday, May 18, 2026.
Space is limited — we invite you to prayerfully consider attending.


Minimum age requirement of 21.



The 3-day, 3-night ACTS Retreat scheduled for May 28th - May 31st, 2026 is presented by Mary Queen parishioners. The goal of this retreat is to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, renew ourselves spiritually, give new meaning to our prayer life and Sunday liturgy and build lasting friendships with members of our parish. This retreat begins Thursday evening and ends Sunday with a meal of fellowship in the Main Hall at Mary Queen Church following the 11:30 a.m. Mass. Round trip transportation will be provided, leaving Thursday evening from the Mary Queen Church.


The cost per retreatant is $255.00. Registration will be on a first come first served basis, with a waiting list thereafter. In order to reserve your place, this registration form must be completely filled out and the registration fee of $255.00 must accompany it. Completed forms can be mailed or hand delivered and will be numbered upon receipt. We will acknowledge your application shortly after it is submitted. Make checks payable to Mary Queen Catholic Church. Cancellations within two weeks of the retreat may not receive a full refund. Please note that financial difficulties should not prevent anyone from attending the retreat. In the event of an emergency, I hereby authorize the staff of Mary Queen Catholic Church to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, or licensed medical personnel any treatment deemed reasonable and necessary for my immediate care. I authorize the staff of Mary Queen Catholic Church to contact the emergency contact person provided on the registration form. I agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.


 


General Release and Waiver of Liability


In consideration of my participation in the ACTS Retreat on May 28 - 31, 2026 at the Christian Renewal Center (CRC) in Dickinson, Texas, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, successors and assigns hereby release, hold harmless and indemnify Mary Queen Catholic Church, Joe S. Vásquez, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, its agents, servants, volunteers and employees (collectively, the “ARCHGH Parties”) from any and all liability, claim, loss, damage, cost or expense arising from my participation in the ACTS Retreat. I waive such claims against the ARCHGH Parties arising directly or indirectly from or attributable in any way to any act or omission of the ARCHGH Parties in connection with the execution of the ACTS Retreat.
