SOULCORE is a movement that combines core strengthening, stretching & functional exercises with the prayers of the rosary; a sensory experience combining candlelight, music, scripture, reflections & movement to nourish body, mind & soul and encourage deeper meditation on the mysteries & virtues of the rosary.

SoulCore is a movement all its own. It is not tied to or affiliated with any other exercise disciplines. SoulCore is not yoga, nor are yoga poses or Sanskrit referenced at any time.

SoulCore is an invitation to integrate body & soul in prayer, fully orienting the heart & mind toward Christ, while discovering the beauty of the rosary: A gentle path to grow in virtue, interior peace & strength.

About the Instructor:

My name is Aimee Kindle and I am thrilled to bring SoulCore to the Mary Queen church community. I am from the League City area and grew up in the Catholic church attending Edge, Life Teen, ACTS and young adult ministry where I developed a strong community and love of my faith. I married my husband in 2019 (whom I met at Life Teen) and we moved to Miami, FL as he was stationed in the Coast Guard. At my parish in Miami, I first learned of SoulCore- a movement that combines core strengthening, stretching and functional exercise with the prayers of the rosary. I loved the combination of strengthening my soul, mind and body through this beautiful practice. We recently moved back to League City, along with our two children and I became a SoulCore instructor to lead classes in the south Houston area. The rosary is such a powerful prayer that has helped me through many trials and blessings. SoulCore focuses on the mysteries and fruits of the rosary through prayer and meditation paired with functional movement and body strengthening exercises. Come move and pray with us starting this summer!

The SoulCore logo, an intertwined A&M, signifies “Auspice Maria” latin for “under the protection of Mary.” May you always be under her protection!
